Read an Excerpt:

“Are you sure you don’t have any angel in you?” Crimson asked. “That was a very good deed you did back there.”

Mike stopped walking and faced her. “Hasn’t anyone ever told you not to compare a demon to an angel? Say that to the wrong person, and hellfire will shoot out his horns, setting his hair ablaze.”

She paused, her mouth opening and closing a few times as she processed his words. “I’m sorry. Please don’t catch fire.”

He laughed. “I’m joking. Demons aren’t flammable.”

She narrowed her eyes, gazing at the top of his head.

“I don’t have horns either. See?” He tilted his head down and ran his hand through his hair. “You weren’t kidding when you said you didn’t know much about demons.”

“You’re the first one I’ve gotten to know. You are full of surprises, aren’t you?”

“I’ve got a few up my sleeve for when I get you alone, if that’s what you mean.” His eyes heated at the thought of all the devilish things he had planned for her, and he ran his hand down her back to give her butt a squeeze.

She laughed. “Now the demon is coming out. I’m not sure which side of you I like better.”

“Lucky for you, I’m a package deal.” He moved his hand to her hip, tugging her closer to his side. “You get both.”

“Ooh, a man on the streets, a demon in the sheets? I can’t wait.”

“Neither can I.”
